White Bean Beet Hummus

Creamy and slightly sweet, this colorful hummus is made from white beans, lots of garlic and fresh roasted beets. Tasty as a dip or a spread on bagels.

Ingredients

  • 1 can cannellini beans or other white beans
  • 2 tbsp almond butter or tahini
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 cup sliced roasted beets fresh or canned
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Bragg aminos or soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients except beets in blender jar and pulse until beans are mostly broken-up.

  2. Add beets and continue blending until mixture is smooth. 

  3. Serve with chips or pita bread or spread on bagels.
