Cauliflower Buffalo Wings

This is a healthier, plant-based version of the typical buffalo wings. These spicy cauliflower “wings” are baked and delicious! You might want to try this recipe with broccoli or zucchini too!

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower separated into florets
  • 1 cup hot wing sauce see notes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Place prepared cauliflower florets on a cookie pan, covered with a silicon sheet or parchment paper.

  3. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.  Brush hot sauce over florets until completely covered and return to oven for an additional 10 minutes.

  4. Serve with fresh carrot and celery sticks.  Dip in vegan ranch dressing (recipe in notes) or store bought plant-based salad dressing.

Recipe Notes

Vegan Ranch Dressing (note- this is not fat-free)

1/4 cup plant milk (almond, soy, oat, etc)
1/4 cup Just Mayo (other other vegan mayonnaise)
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon fresh parsley, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk to combine.  Chill.

*Note – not all prepared hot wing sauce is plant-based. Be sure to read the label. I recommend “Sweet Baby Ray’s” brand.  It is not fat-free, however.   😉
