7-minute Black Bean Soup
A very simple soup you can prepare in 7 minutes using ingredients you have on hand.

Ingredients
- 2 cans black beans (or other beans) drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Place one can of drained, rinsed beans into a sauce pan.

In a separate bowl, mash the beans from the second can and add the mashed beans to sauce pan.

Stir in salsa, vegetable broth, cumin, chili powder, salt and pepper.

Heat thoroughly about 5 minutes and eat!

Serving options:
~ Ladle into a bowl and eat with a salad and bread.
~ Pour over a baked potato, rice or other grain or pasta for a larger meal.
